white bumps on tongue

white bumps on tongue

I have had white blotchy spots and bumps on my tongue for probably over a month now. They are starting to get painful and I can't afford to go to a doctor. They're all over my tongue and mouth. At first I thought it might be thrush so I have been drinking cranberry juice and eating yogurt. It seems to go away but as soon as i stop doing anything it comes right back. I also tried to use a baking soda rince that i found online and that seemed to help for a few days until i quit one night  and it came back again. I was just wondering if it sounded like thrush and i should keep doing what i'm doing or if i should try something else.

It'd be hard to recommend a treatment without a complete diagnosis.  I would recommend going to see a dentist to find out what is the problem.  A simple prescription of an anti-fungal should take care of it if it is indeed thrush.
