white fillings causing so much grief

Hi, hope someone can help me.

2 weeks ago i had 2 teeth filled with white fillings, they were very sensitive to cold and still are, i noticed myself being woken up att night jaw clenching and the pain was excrutiating coming from these teeth.  I can not bite on these teeth at all without pain! Brushing them is also painfull.

A week later i had 2 bottom teeth filled and these are the sensitive to cold and when i apply pressure to the inside of them with my tongue its almost like a feeling that my teeth are loose.

Went back to dentist who said i needed to see hygenist as gums looked sore and irrated.

they didnt xray them or anything or ask me to bite down on cottonwooll...what do i do, my jaw aches alot of the time and also slight earache although the teeth themselves dont throb they do seem to ache in morning and evening.

Going back to your dentist to have more occlusal adjustment is advised. If your dentist can not adjust bite optimally, you may need to see an occlusionist or prosthodontist.

thank you for your reply, rang dentist who is insisting its a gum problem and wants to me to wait and see hygenist tomorrow... which is going to hurt like crazy when shes poking around at these teeth.

The pain is there all the time now in all 4 teeth, so fed up!
