hi i woke up one morning with a swelled cheek/jaw and my wisdom tooth is coming through on my top left and i went to the doctor who gaver me antibiotics 3 days later although the swelling improved it did not go and so i went to the dentist who did an xray and checke dinside my mouth an checked to see if i needed root canal and it all came back that evrything was fine. i have two days left of antibiotics and the swelling has gone down but not completely. also the tooth smells a little bit that is improving aswell though . what does this mean i should do how can i reduce the swelling?

take the antibiotics for the entire duration. if you stop when you feel better instead of for the complete treatment the infection might not be gone. if the tooth is a wisdom tooth dont get a root canal just have it pulled. wisdom teeth are easy to remove compared to other teeth and you dont need them so save a bunch of money and have it extracted.
