wisdom tooth removal

by flj, Aug 02, 2005 12:00AM
I had nerve damage after getting my wisdom teeth removed a year ago, tingling/ electrical feel in my cheek when I touched my face. Around six months later I began to get new muscle/nerve syptoms (symptoms) on the same side, muscle pulling, heaviness, and sensations.  I can also see the change on that side of my face.
The feeling even goes into my neck and it is growing stronger.

Is it possible that these newer progressive symptoms are related to the earlier tooth removal?

I would suggest you see your MD to determine if these sensations you are talking about are related to something totally different than the extraction you had.
