worried about infection

I had a molar, bottom right side,  last one in back extracted on April 28, 08.  I was given a 7 day antibiotic treatment.  I started this prescription 4 days prior to my extraction  and finished 3 days after.  During this time I had a very bad taste in my mouth, like metalic.  I attributed this to the antibiotics.  Almost 3 1/2 weeks  I have finished the antibiotics I still have the metalic taste in my mouth, and now I have other symptons like feeling feeverish, cold, hot,  very tired body aches and dizzy.  I have a slight temp 99.5.  The extraction site feels  and looks fine, slight residual sorenes, but no pain or redness. Should I be concerned or do something?

Please google" dysgeusia". you'll find detailed information about altered taste. However, metalic taste is commonly associated with mouth rinse containing chlorhexidine. Your constitional symptoms may or may not be associated with dental infection. Seeing a physician is advised.
