worried about tooth extractions

I have type 2b vonwillebrands.I need to have 8 teeth pulled.I take humate-p for bleeding.I also have a very low platlet count.My oral surgeon thinks if i have humate-p before he should be able to pull them in his office.I am a little concerned because i thought maybe i should have them pulled in the hospital but he says no.Is there anyone else out there with this disease that has had teeth extracted in the dentist office? I'm a bit scared.
