worried-tooth abscess

I have two teeth side by by side bottom left that has been breaking off for quiet some time, due to money problems I have not been able to tend to them. How ever I have had a Dentist in the past 7 months to fix another tooth that was very severe so the Dentist took care of that one first, and said I would have to go to Oral Surgeon to have these cut out. I don't have any pain around the teeth for there are only pieces left but I am having headaches, soreness to the touch, and a little facial pain I'm on Biaxin in case this is abscess and have been on it for five days with another weak to go! What i'm worried about is that I will not be able to get these teeth cut out for another week in a half but I have alot of the Biaxin.............................but i'm worried does this abscess sound like it could have gone into my head?
