x-ray machine hits me in the face during root canal
if a x-ray film during root canal breaks off in your jaw well deep below the gum/jaw line and the dentist wants to leave it in their permanently is that safe?
they did two root canals on the same tooth, rather than removing the needle/film???
if you have mitral valve prolapse and they don't put you on antibiotics is that safe?
Is this legal and safe and am I in harms way to leave this in their permantaly.
I would not go to have an appendectomy and leave a surgical insturment in my belly why would I my jaw?

Leaving a file in can be ok if the tooth was completely cleaned out before the file broke. However, if you are worried about it, ask your dentist to send you to a specialist.
Some teeth have more than one canal, this is normal.
