yellow coating in tongue

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me...
I have a yellow coating on my tongue... I have been having this for almost 4 months now (at least is when I notice it)
Is more intense when I wake up in the mornings, time when my mouth is usually very dry...
Later, when I brush my teeth, It goes away a bit... as I can see my brush a bit yellow too (the paste get tained in yellow), before washing it.. a few hours later I can barely notice it, and my tongue almost get its normal appearance...

What could be causing this?? Im a heavy smoker, who also have gastric problems... a lot heartburn.. recently diagnosed with a intestinal ulcer... and almost 5 months ago got a surgery for gall bladder removal (not helping with gastric problems) Could all this be related???

The exogenous stain of tongue may come from chromogenic bacteria, cigarette smoking, mouth rinse, as well as food.
