I'm experiencing this for the first time too. I went to the dentist on Monday for a 6 month check-up and cleaning, and noticed it a day or two after that. Before I went to the dentist, I was hitting the mouthwash pretty hard because I had had onions the night before. After doing some reading, I'm thinking the mouthwash may have caused what is effectively a yeast infection by upsetting the balance in my mouth. I've never had this happen before, but I'm using a new mouthwash that is supposed to whiten your teeth. It's a "use before brushing" rinse, and I didn't brush afterwards. I may have learned a follow-the-directions lesson the hard way.
I'm eating yogurt and am going to buy some acidophilus to see if that helps.
