Anxiety Attack

I am on lexapro 10 mg. for GAD.  I have been off caffeine for over a year thinking that was causing some of the attacks.  I have been doing better but lately I have been getting feelings of going to pass out and stomach upset after I have decaf coffee or if I get hungry.  I know sometimes they may give me caffeine instead of decaf but I know it's been happening even with decaf.  Has anyone felt like this?  If so,  is it anxiety or something else?  Thank you.

I think the doctor hit the nail right on the head! I've noticed that even when I drink decaf tea, soda, and coffee the same thing happens to me. And wasn't until I told my doctor that she brought up the same point. There is still a small trace of caffeine in the decaf stuff, too. Even chocolate! Good luck, I hope you feel better soon!

There is some caffeine even in decaf coffee and you may be very sensitive to this small amount.  Experiment, stop decaf or any coffee and see what happens.
