Back on Effexor?

Hello,

A while ago I posted a question about weaning off Effexor XR with the hope of trying for a pregnancy.  I successfully weaned off it and advised everyone to do this very slowly to minimise the withdrawl (withdrawal) symptoms.

Then I broke up with my fiance and the return of depression forced me to seek help from a psychiatrist to go back on an antidepressant.

The new psychiatrist put me on a new antidepressant ARIMA 300, because he said it was in a different category.

ARIMA doesn't work for me and I wake up shaking at night every 20 minutes.

My next appointment with this guy is in three weeks time, but I wont last that long! I am about to ring him up and try to bring that appointment closer!

Anyway, should I ask him to put me back on Effexor, because the side effects were much easier to live with. Will this help me feel a little bit better. I am 40 in January and I suppose I'll have to live with no children!

Certainly going back on Effexor is a possibility, but maybe another one or none at all will also do what you need. There are many to choose from.
