Beeping in ear when you are talking or someone is talking to you?

Could someone tell me what could cause or if it would be serouse for my eighteen year old daughter who woke up this morning with beeping in her ear when she talks or someone talkes to her. She say's there is no pain and it is not constant she explained it as ( beep, beep beep beep, beep) on and off. so sometimes it is a single beep and sometimes it is more than one beep at a time.

If there is not a lot of stress in her life and she has no other symptoms you might first have her checked by an ear specialist. If its not a physical problem,then you should probably just watch her for a while to see if there are any other signs of undue stress or stress symptoms..if so, then she should see a doctor.
