Man its me again my chest still hurts it feels like a sharp stabbing pain right over the heart and radiates to the lower left rib cage.My question is they say i am depressed but u would be too if your chest hurt and noone nows why???????test they have done are chest x rays normal stomach x rays normal ekgs three i think all mnormal ent doc gave me a ent for vertigo came out normal i just started too feel dizzy all the time and vomit two or three times a week i just want to no if your mind can make u feel all these symptoms or not I DONT NO WHAT TOO DO they have me on prilosec xanax klonopin and buspar but still feel like donkey terds hehe little humor!!!!!!WHAT SHOULD I DO I AM SEEING A SHRINK TOO???????????????????????????????????????????

I think you are doing all you can. Yes, if all the tests are negative for heart disease, then depression can be the cause.

There is one more thing you can do for yourself. When a person is depressed and having physical pain, that physical pain is a substitute for mental anguish. That means you are sad or hurt that some part of your life is not working well. You should follow your pain, identify what is hurting you about your life, and be sure to talk about that with your psychiatrist. That is your best chance of being cured of all this suffering.

i think you got angina
its caused by too much stress, i had it and it lasted about 5 days, if u get those pains just try to relax and remember, it isnt a heart attack and has nothing to do with the heart.
