Completely believed yesterday (Saturday) was Sunday..have other memory problems

I spent the entire day yesterday (Saturday) believing it was Sunday.  I remember thinking why certain tv shows were on a Sunday and why others weren't, I even called the newspaper delivery service in the morning because I hadn't gotten the Sunday paper.  I actually didn't realize it was Saturday night until I set my alarm for "Monday" and saw Saturday Night Live on tv...then checked my computer several times, not believing that I had missed an entire day.  I've been having lots of short term memory loss issues for many months...some got much better when I was diagnosed with very high blood pressure and didn't know it.  I actually went to the doctor because I was having a hard time getting the right words out. The blood pressure meds seemed to help out quite a bit. I'm a 57 female, taking wellbutrin and (I'm truly blanking out on the name of the other anti-depressant) and high blood pressure meds, was on hormones for several years when first going through menopause, but not any more). I have been very stressed and depressed about my job, my life..and am seeing a therapist.  Other days, I'll be completely fine and words will just flow. But yesterday totally freaked me out.  Is this a sign of dementia??? (in addition to the others).

Not a sign of dementia, but certainly a sign of being totally distracted, and having a heavy load of unconscious material that is not yet being dealt with...work hard with your therapist to look at your worst fears, that can bring you a lot of relief as you sort that out and find out that there are not as bad as they seem to be.
