Convulsions

My husband has started having convulsions.  The first one was after he injured his finger real bad.  The second one he had was when his doctor increased his blood pressure medication and his pulse dropped to 18.  He experienced the third one yesterday.  He cut his hand while slicing the turkey.  After a few minutes he began to sweat and then fainted and started convulsing.  He gasped, shook, turned grey and foamed at the mouth.  His eyes were rolling back.  Unresponsive for about 5 minutes.  After five minutes he came back too.  Was responsive, knew his name and where he was.
These episodes are very scarry.  The EMT said his blood pressure and pulse were good.  What should we do.  He has been seeing a doctor for blood pressure and is currently taking a small dosage anxiety drug.

Your husband needs a complete workup from a neurologist...convulsions have many causes, and finding out what is going on in his brain is most important....you might want to ask your doctor about temporarily suspending the anxiety drug if it is one that has a stimulant effect on the brain which increases excitability.
