Dreams, and exhaustion

Dreams, and exhaustion

i've been having dreams and nightmares for a week solid. Can't get into my doctor for another 12 says. They are going from adandoment, which will never happen. To creepy, to things that make little sense. Waking me up, I don't feel rested. I'm scared to sleep, and I don't know what to do. Other then try and escape reality, or close off from everyone. I'm going crazy, and honestly I don't know what to do anymore. I'm at my wits end, don't know if I can handle them anymore.

Your dreams are your brain's way of trying to make sense of something. Your nightmares are indication that your sense of safety has recently been challenged by some even like illness of parent, bad news about a friend, or???. The best way to deal with this is a brief consultation with a therapist who can help you find the source. If it is so bad, anti-anxiety medications will help, so call and insist that your doctor see you on an urgent basis, or  prescribe something for you over the phone.

Perhaps something has triggered these dreams.  Often the problem is that we suppress thoughts and feelings and this is how they express themselves or make themselves heard.
Dreams can provide a lot of useful information if we are receptive to understanding them.

Escaping reality or  distancing yourself from people is not the answer.

I can't think this through at the moment.  I know there have been times when I have had nightmares, etc and have been too anxious to go to bed.  For me they either seem to resolve themselves or I end up exhausted from lack of sleep.

Maybe your subconscious does say there is a possibility of abandonment or picks up cues you have yet to assimilate.  ??

Talking to someone may help you process some of the stuff going on in your head.  Which in turn may help you get restorative sleep (without the nightmares).
