Bipolar disorder was formerly called manic-depressive!!! Your being compulsive now!
Make a check list okay
1. Do you take risk, even ones that could end your life?
2. Drugs, drink, smoke? (Bipolar tend to become addicted to stuff. I smoke)
3. Can go for days with little or no sleep
4. Can be fine and happy but fell like your fighting back tears
5. Can just get up in the middle of the night to clean your house or something that requires energy
6. Can go from happy to crazy ( bi*ching mode) and back to the norm happy in the matter of minutes
7. Problems remembering stuff
8. Spend money as quick as you get it,
9 jump from job to job.
10. unable to focus on stuff for long periods at a time.
This is a lot; you need to think about it, if you really think this is you try some vitamins they will help
5htp, and omega-3, if nothing else it will help your anxiety. Your not bipolar, don't ever think that you are. When I go to the doctor for cold medicine or whatever they seem to forget what I am there for and just want to know if I am taking my bipolar medication, and I’m not. The vitamins work well for me; if it gets bad I take a walk. I was prescribed medication but they have some major side effects so I stay away from them. Listen to the doc. your fine. Go back to your life and stop worrying. You want to be known as you not known as the guy with bipolar. :)
The reason you are confused is because you don't have any disorder...those lablels are just gross descriptions of your behavior and experience. you are just a normal person with some social anxiety who is sometimes quiet, sometimes talkative, depending on your mood and circumstances.
