How do I start back on my meds?

hey I can not get a hold of my dr, but I have been off of my Suboxone for 3 almost 4 days now. I had to go to the ER 3 days ago for a severe absess (abscess) (tooth) that had begn to spread into my body. They had to give me opiate based pain meds. The problem is, I no longer require the pain meds, but don't want to go into withdrawals. Would it be safe to just start back taking the Suboxone? Or could that hurt me.  I cannot figure out why my M.D. has not called me back. I assume he is on vacation or something, he is usually very prompt with returning phone calls. Your help is very appreciated. Thank you..

I can only advise you that in general it would be safe unless any other medications you are taking will amplify it's effect. Try to talk to your doctor...if he not answer, there should be someone on call with access to your record.
