I suffer Groin Pain

Dear friends :
My name is Luis, I am 21 years old and I am a professional soccer
player ;I play in Peru and I play for the National Team also.
Two weeks ago I was training with my team when all of a sudden I felt a kind of ***** on the right side of the pubis bone, I didn't care of it, but when I made
a sprint the pain was even worse.I had to stop inmediatly.
Doctors here are not sure about the diagnosis, they made me a lot of analysis
like radiographs, bone scans, but all seems to be allright, there is no
hernia, bone fracture, osteitis pubis, tenoperiosteal lessions, nothing!!,I
am really desperate I don't know what to do.
Even though they don't know what  the injury is, they are giving me atreatment consistent of antinflamatories and ultrasound, but I don't feel better.
I don't feel pain when I walk or when I do my normal activities, but when I break into a trot I inmediatly feel that "*****" in the right side that disables me to coninue.
Please help me.
your friend:          LUIS

Dear Luis,
I recommend a complete medical evaluation for the cause of your pain.  Pain may be attributed to various factors, it may also increase with anxiety or sress. Therapy can be helpful in coping with pain.  There are also medications to help with pain control if a cause is not discovered.  You might seek psychiatric help if the pain continues to be chronic.
This reply is provided as general information. Always consult your physician.
Sincerely,
HFHS M.D.-SW
