Lexapro & hair loss

Lexapro & hair loss

After reading some of these posts I see that the hair loss problem isnt so uncommon after all.
I started taking Lexapro about 10 days ago but immediately stopped when, on the 4th day, I noticed a couple dozen hairs caught in my comb one moring after a shower. This never happened before taking this drug. I didnt have any withdrawl (withdrawal) problems since I was taking it for so short of a time.
Why wast this side effect listed? Apparently it has been going on for some time. I would have never taken this stuff if I knew that could happen.
I'm assuming (maybe optimistically) that my hair will come back once the lexapro is completely flushed out of my body. The shedding seems to have stopped.
Has anyone noticed thier hair growing back?
For what it's worth, I'm a 36 year old male, always had good health, and a (nearly now) full head of hair.

that's a good question, why isn't it listed, it certainly does seem to happen. Answer, I don't know.  Certainly that is a short term and reversable hair loss.
