Lower Back

I have had Lower back pain now for about 2 months and the doctors cant seem to figure out whats going on can you help please maybe You can give me ideas on what they should be testing for or looking for.
First off because of this lower back pain I devolped shingles. and so my doctor figured thats it thats why my back has been hurting because of the shingles and stress on my back. but I now am at the end of the shingles clearing up. which by the way is on my right side. But when I wake up and find I am on my stomach I find My lower left side hurting and it takes everything in me just to move from my stomach to my back or side to relieve this presure pain. Could it be a slipped disc or a pinched nerve. Im really starting to feel stupid that they cant find out what it is.Please email me at ***@**** Thank you

It must be difficult suffering with the back pain that you describe. Your concerns would be better addressed by your primary care physician, who after appropriate evaluation, may consider referring you to a neurologist, orthopedic surgeon, or to a Pain Management Specialist.
