Medication and Beer

I was on xanax for around 17 years,during that time I drank beer. I recently went thru detox and got off the Xanax plus I quit drinking. i was put on 0.5 mg. Klonopin once a day and risperdal 1 mg. at bedtime. I pretty much have stopped it. (the Risperdal) My question is, I have recently started having a few beers dailey. Is this a bad problem with the Klonopin? I dont like being on it since i was on Xanax so long. My concern is what will drinking beer with Klonopin do? Can it cause a stiff neck? I think that is really due to tension since Im so stressed about the beer and Klonopin...sometimes I only take 1/2  a Klonopin

It all depends on how much beer.  Klonopin acts like a sedative when combined with too much beer, and therefore it is dangerous to drive even if you are not feeling drunk.
