Medication question

I have been on Abilify 15mg for sometime now...it has seemed to help with the psychosis that i was experiencing and blunts the mania, however, it has not controlled the hypomania or depression. Last time i went to my pdoc he said that if the Abilify didn't work then he would also add lithium to the mix. Well it's been a few weeks and i am still in a depression. So i suppose my question is, is it too much to ask my doctor to put me on an antidepressant along with lithium and abilify? Since i am assuming that if this were to happen, then i would have a mood stabilizer, an antidepressant, and an antipsychotic agent....

It is not too much to ask for don't be surprised if your doctor tells you that the addition of an antidepressant may not be in your best interest.  That's a judgment call that only your doctor can make
