Music stuck in my head

I am in my late 50s and am living alone. Recently, I find that music keep ringing in my head after listening to it once or twice. I have since stopped listen to any music. I put it down to solitary lifestyle and infrequent human contact as my children are staying elsewhere. The music will not be in my head when I am talking to people. Is this a problem that I should be concerned about?

Although you have received some good advice on this , It does not sound like a neurological problem because it is not there when you are with people, but it does not hurt to get it checked out.

Are you on any medications?  You should definately talk to your doctor and see an audiologist.  Do you still hear this music?  And how long does this go on for?  Keeping to yourself is not healthy for anyone.  You should go get a hobby, join a club or go out with friends or family.
