New drugs on the horizon?

I was just wondering if there are any new drugs on the horizon for depression.  It seems the SSRIs help alot of people but the sexual side effects cause many to stop or look towards other drugs.  I was wondering if the drug companies are looking into new drugs that are SSRI-type but have no/little sexual side effects...  Anything about to be approved by the FDA?

The sexual side effects of SSRI primarily is from the neurotransmitter serotonin. Other medications that has less or no serotonin that may cause less sexual dysfunction are: Remeron, Wellbutrin, Serzone, Effexor.
Other medications that target a different system like substance P is still undergoing research.
A new antidepressant currently being reviewed for FDA approval is reboxetine - a new noradrenergic reuptake inhibitor antidepressant.

I have a beautiful and very sexual wife.  Prior to Celexa we enjoyed what could only be described as an intimate wonderland.  We are both 42 and enjoyed each other as if we were in our twenties... then Celexa came into our lives.  I guess that I have to say that erectile disorder was more depressing to me than my depression!  Imagine, having a beautiful, uninhibited, enthusiastic partner and thinking, "If only I felt like I wanted her..."  Guilt and a feeling of being inadequate became my companions.  Sure, my depression was under control, but at what cost?  My doctor has prescribed Wellbutrin, which seems to work better for me.  Thank God that my wife was understanding and encouraging to me.  She was more than understanding and has stood by me.  With the Wellbutrin (which is new for me)we are not yet where we were, but the fear of holding this woman that I love dearly with no response has subsided.  I don't know how typical my experience was, but I am glad to be off Celexa.
