Night Sweats

I'm a 24 year-old female. I've been on prozac for 5 years,
birth control pills for 10 years.  I am very healthy ( i think).
The problem is this - I have been getting horrible night
sweats every night for a couple of weeks now. I wake up
drenched. What could this be?

Prozac causes an infrequent side effect of increase in sweating. But it is unusual for this side effect to appear after five years.
I advise that you have yourself fully evaluated by your primary care physician as night sweats may also be caused by other medical conditions.

It is my understanding that several things can cause night sweats.  It would seem prudent to contact your medical doctor.
