Panic Attcak and Coronary Artery Spasm

Hello--
I 'm just wondering your opinion on the relationship between panic attacks and coronary artery spasm.  Some research I've read suggest that one causes the other (either way--panic precipitates spasm or vice versa).  What do you think?  Have you ever had experience with this subject?  I once saw a psychatrist that said he had never seen a panic attack that couldn't be resolved with nitroglycerin.  What do you think?
If this is the case, what is one to do? Stay on a Xanax I.V. drip in order to keep from having a heart attack?  (I'm being somewhat serious)
Thank you
Heather
