Paxil

Could you please tell me how long it takes for paxil to take effect as well as side-effects?
Are there any withdrawl (withdrawal) effects from this medication?  Thank you

Paxil begins to take effect within weeks, sometimes sooner and sometimes as long as a month. There are numerous possible side effects, but mostly the initial period is the drug effect, which is getting used to the altered mood, and minor things like dry mouth etc. Paxil can produce either drowsiness or agitation.

You have to withdraw carefully from Paxil because it is short acting, and you can rebound effects like increased depression,sweats, stomach upset etc.
