Psychosis

I have been told I have psychotic features by psychiatrists.  I am just not sure what they are or have been.  One thing I can think of that I am not sure is psychotic or not is this.  I have had periods of time that I believe people are spying on me and are meeting about me at work and that some of the phone calls are about me.  I do get on the internet sometimes and have personal emails also.  Not to excess, though, and my evaluations are tremendously good so I don't think anyone is unhappy with me usually.  Does that sound like it is psychotic or perhaps just a guilty feeling that someone would know?

Thank you.  I really need to know.

What you describe is not necessarily a psychotic manifestation and can indeed be a great sensitivity and sense of vulnerability.

Everyone has questions about their popularity and uncertainty about their self esteem and wondering whether people are talking about you can be your expression of that worry.

I would monitor this closely and talk to someone about your self doubts if you can find the right person to trust.

I have that same feeling(s) toward the morning hours. I don't need help about it because I've learned to cope with it. Just try not to go crazy thinking about it and live a normal life. It almost feels like I'm being followed CONSTANTLY and it's starting to bother me, but cope with it
