Over the past year my father has had swelling in his face,
feet, hands and ankles. The swelling on happens once and a while
probably two to three times a month and only in certain areas.
For instance he will be swollen in his face and then next time he
is swollen it is in his feet. It moves around. When the swelling
occurs he also itches on this stomach, legs and arms. I am
concerned about my fathers health.  He is a very active man of
56. What do you think causes the swelling and itching. Any
suggestions would be helpful. Thank you in advance

Your father should see a doctor as soon as possible. Why wait?
I was told that this kind of swelling could be related to heart disease.
