Seizure

Seizure

Please please help.....my fiance and I smoked some weed last night. It was his first time. And like 20 min after we did he went into the bathroom and was in there for awhile. I started hearing banging noises. But we live in an apartment so I just thought it was someone downstairs. But then it kept going and I started to realize it was coming from our bathroom. I went in there and he was laying on the floor and his hands where all twisted together and he was shaking and wasn't conscious. His eyes were closed. I yelled his name several times and finally he started to wake up. A few minutes later he was throwing up. Then got really tired afterwards. He does have a seizure disorder. And is taking medication 2 times a day.
Why did this happen? Im scared and don't really know what to do. Was it the weed that made him do this, or the medication he's taking? I don't want him to do it again but I'm afraid he'll want to and that one of these times he's not gonna gain consciousness....:(

You already received the best advice from Jaquta and Paxiled...He should see his doctor and he should never smoke weed again..period....The chances are very strong that the weed influenced the seizure..

Why would he want to after this?  It sounds like a seizure; he should probably see his doc.  Whether the mj interfered with his meds or not, people on meds and with serious illnesses affecting the brain shouldn't fool around with psychotropic drugs.  Just the way it is. Includes alcohol.

The fatigue afterwards is due to the seizure.
I would expect it happened because of the drug use.
I think it would make sense for him to be evaluated by his doctor.  You can get the answers you need plus he can have his condition reevaluated.

I don't think either of you should smoke weed again.  I think for him it is potentially very dangerous.  Maybe if you outline your concerns and his health issues he will abstain.

Good luck and take care.
