Self-Conscious and Paranoid

I am not really sure where to begin on this. I have my ups and downs emotionally, but today I just feel like I must do something because I want this feeling to end. I feel useless and uncomfortable even while by myself. I went to lunch earlier and I didn't even feel at ease chewing my food. I feel like people are watching my every move. I can feel like this anytime, but every once in awhile it is just overpowering. I feel under-qualified in my job, relationships, family, just feeling out of place everywhere. I don't feel like I am fulfilling any purpose. A couple of years ago I went to a mental health clinic and they prescribed me celexa and risperdal, but I only took them for a few months. It seemed like it might have helped, but its hard to tell because things only get bad for a little while every few months. If I make an appointment to go see someone about this, by the time I actually get there everything is okay again and I feel like an idiot for bothering a doctor about some imaginary problem. What should I do?

You should make an appointment and even if you feel better start discussing with them how you are feeling now and ask to have talk therapy, not just medication therapy.  You should be sure to take your medication along with the talk there he because that is the best way to help yourself.  You have something very important to discuss so pay attention to it and dig into it.
