Sexual Dysfunction-Phsycological?

Posted By Erin on August 04, 1999 at 21:21:07
My boyfriend has never been able to maintain and erection suitable for intercourse.  Dr's can find nothing wrong with him. He has high cholesterol (208) and one guessed at atherosclerosis (sp?).  Viagra only half worked, he tried a drug "cocktail" to be injected into the penis made up of different vasodialators and that didn't work either.  It worked in the Dr's office, not at home though.  Which leads me to believe it's phychological for some reason.  He has REFUSED (vehemently) to go to therapy, and I will leave him if we can't find a solution.  Though it's not something I want to do, I don't have any other choices.  We fight frequently about it...he feels I'm putting too much pressure on him, I feel he's being apathetic about the problem, though he says it bothers him.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
