Strange Symptoms that plague me

About a year ago I had strange visual attack where everything started to spin and I felt very dizzy.  I was rushed to the emergency room and the doctor ordered a CT of the head and a LP of the spine.  They sent me home.  My doctor saw me the next day and felt I should take Celexa because of teh traumatic event.  I proceeded to take the Celexa and about 7 hrs latter my skin felt like it was on fire and my pulse shot through the ceiling and I developed chest pains so again back to the ER.  They performed blood test and EKG.  They sent me home and my doc put me on Paxil.  I was on it for six weeks and felt like a corpse.  No energy and started to develop abdominal pains and twitching.  I was sent of a GI and he performed every many test of my stomach.  They put me on Elvil and I developed an even more severe anxiety reaction.  I was up for four days and felt panic.  I have tried Zoloft only to have the muscle twitching go crazy.  As of date I have had 7 CTs 2 MRI's, 2LP's massive blood work and no one can come up with anything.  Before the origanl attack I had not visited the doc for over 10 years.  I have gone from ailment to ailment.  At first I thought I a brain tumor, then abdominal cancer and the symptoms followed.  Now my body is developing the symptoms of ALS.  Numbness, weakness, twicthing and I can even notice my muscles shrinking.  I have been to several neurologist who cannot figure out what is wrong.  I even paid big money to go an see a specialist for ALS.  The best in the country.  DO you have any ideas for me?  Is this all in my head?  I am very stressed.

You have to consider an organic origin and pursue what you can with the neurologist, but, this could also be a massive anxiety attack with multiple system symptoms.  I have seen enough of these..they mimick every other disease.

Ask your doctor about a simple and direct anti-anxiety drug like klonopin, and try that for a while. The other drugs you have tried work in different ways, and antianxiety is only on of many complicated effects..and they do sometimes make it worse.
