Sweating?

Sweating?

Hello,

I'm currently four weeks now on 50mg of Zoloft (37 years old), once daily.  Before starting Zoloft, I started experiencing heavy sweating under my arms (not common for me), and severe muscle ache in my left calve muscle upon waking every day.  This was also accompanied by mild shortness of breath during the day and rapid breathing upon waking.

Internal Medicine doctor performed numerous tests to rule out other, non-anxiety issues (had had valve replacement years ago, but recent cardio visit revealed everything ok in that department).

Question relates to feelings after being on Zoloft for four weeks:

Sweaty palms and feet all day now, except after work and on weekends.
Mild tension headaches
Rapid breathing upon awakening
Trouble sleeping through the night (except if I take one Tylenol PM)
Greatly reduced sweating under armpits now

Have I effectively traded one set issues for a different set with Zoloft?  Sweaty palms is a problem in my line of work.  Going for check-up tomorrow and wouldn't mind some additional advice.

Thanks!

sweating, sleep problems and headaches can all be caused by this class of medications, but Celexa ( same class) causes far less side effects.  Talk to your doctor about making that switch as  a trial.
