Thallium stress test and psychoactive medications for PTSD

I have been scheduled by my GP for a thallium stress test next Monday (I have a lame ankle) because I have been having very mild chest pain at intervals.  I take several drugs to relieve anxiety and depression associated with PTSD.  The drugs are Prozak (60 mg daily), Buspar (45 mg), Trazodone (50mg) , and Wellbutrin (200 mg).  In general, I become extremely anxious and my heart races when I take caffeine, for example, or any kind of steriod.

Is the persatine thallium test safe for me?  I fear having some sort of traumatic reaction during the test.  I have been on antidepressants my whole adult life (they work well), and then had a severe episode of PTSD three years ago--that's when the stress medication was added by my psychopharmacologist.  My age is 62.

I do need a stress test because I have a strong family history of heart disease and also have been on Tamoxifen for 5 years.  Thank you.

There is always a small danger with any stress test, but the cardiologist is always there to monitor the ekg and can prevent anything from happening, but you should ask more questions before you proceed so you have more confidence in what is happening.
