Took Effexor

In a flash of stupidity last weekend, I took two pills of my neighbor's Effexor while feeding their cats. I was looking for some happy fun for a few hours and didn't know what I was getting into (never taken anything like that before).

This is now my third day, and I have been feeling the effects of the (i guess) increased serotonin ever since. My appetite has decreased, I sometimes have a slight tingling in the back of my head, often drowsy, etc.

I am starting to be worried that there might be some long-term ramifications from what I did. Can you tell me what an idiot like me who took that drug one time can expect? Will it level back out over time? how much time? is it possible that I will be stuck this way forever?

Don't worry, the drug is probably mostly out of your system by now, or will be in a few days, and all those effects will go away.
