One way to find outis to wean yourself off of lexapro. You should consult your doctor about that but I usually recommend you do this over three weeks, ending up with the lowest dose every third day in the last week, then stop.  If you off lexapro, you will know for sure what might have caused your symptoms.

The shocks sound to me like typical SSRI withdrawal jolts, but it's strange you've started having them even when having taken the medication regularly. I assume you do the latter?

Yes I'm still taking the Lexapro regularly, havent missed a dose because i didnt want the "Jolts" to happen again..That has to be the weirdest feeling in the world but it's realy weird when you're taking all your meds and it starts happening again lol...I guess I will ween myself of it and see what happens...didnt take it yesterday and no jolts but then again some days it does it and some days it doesnt so I quess we'll see...Thank god for the internet because before you even go to your Dr. and tell him if feels like your brain's bein shocked sounds nutz...I was glad I could ask the question here first lol

Hopefully weaning off Lexapro will work out for you. And do tell your doctor about your symptoms, or perhaps try finding a different doctor you trust better, is my advice. These psychoactive substances can cause all kinds of symptoms, of which your doctor might be aware.

Get to your doc.  Then get to a different doc.  Two heads are beter than one.
