Valproic Acid, Clonidine, & Ambien

My psychiatrist prescribed all 3 of these after diagnosing me with panic disorder, agoraphobia, mania, and bipolar disorder. But after looking them up i'm not finding much information about them being prescribed for the conditions. I was just wondering if this seems like a normal regimen? Thank You

There are many ways to treat your diagnosis so the medications that are  prescribed depend more on the symptoms you have than the diagnosis. These are all good effective medications, but feel free to ask your doctor why he prescribed these rather than others.
