Welbutrin XL with Zoloft?

I have been reading some of the post and am a bit concerned.  I am a single mom, full time student with a full time job- Busy.  A few weeks ago I went to see my Dr. because I had a what seemed like a sinus infection.  During my vist her perscribed in addition to my antibiotics Welbutrin XL (150mg) and Zoloft (50mg)and stated that they would help me keep up with my very busy life- seemed great so I started taking them... I have since had no major side effects and really can't see much of a difference- my biggest concern is that to my knowledge I have never been diagnosed with depression, and can't say that despite my full and chaotic life I feel bad.  Is there some other use for these medications? Is there a reason to perscribe them together?  and I suppose finally in what way do they relate to me.  This is the first time I have ever taken any for of anti-deppressant and it makes me rather nervous.  Any information or reccomendations that you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

In my view these medications are over prescribed, and your case is a good example since you are not suffering from anxiety, depression or an obsession. This is no other reason to prescribe these medications, so I suggest you query your doctor carefully about why, and think of not taking them until you have a good reason to do so.

anyone know if any of the following medicines are known to cause memory problems?

any of the SSRI's? (Wellbutrin, Zoloft...?)

I do not believe it causes memory problems. I have been on it for about 2 months now and I believe it has help me think more clear and has helped my memory. I know that some times they use it for add. It is said that it will help with that.  SO I believe it does help the mind think.
