When zoloft stops working...

I had an excellent response to zoloft for treatment of chronic depression for 3 years, then zoloft pretty much stopped working. Have since been prescribed celexa, wellbutrin, with modest effect. Wondering if any particular drug(s) have had success has substitute for zoloft in this or similar situation? What are chances of going back to zoloft, as have been off all drugs for 1 year, and having it work again as before?

Probably a pretty good chance that it will work a second time after that much time away. If not, ask your doctor about Paxil.

I don't recommend Paxil.  Try Effexor.
