Worries concerning claims about SSRIs and similar drugs

Hi.  I recently found a site on the internet with a list of anti-psychiatry/drug books.  Reading the description of the book on the following web page greatly disturbs me:

It goes into detail concerning the dangers of SSRIs and other related drugs including Serzone, which I just began taking.  It seems like they have done lots of research and know what they are talking about.  Do you know anything about the truth of these claims?

I am going crazy worrying about what will happen to me!  I am especially worried about permanent side effects.  (BTW, thank you for your previous reply).  Maybe the drug companies are paying the FDA to let the drugs through without adequately testing them!?  What should I do??  Also, can you refer me to anyone else who is knowledgeable in this area?  Thank you so much!
