Worrying All The Time

I have taken paxil, zoloft and now prozac for depression. The problems that never seem to go away is worrying all the time and always being tired. The ssri's help with the depression but not the worrying and always wanting to sleep. Do you have any suggestions?

Anxiety may be treated by either pharmacotherapy or psychotherapy.

You have failed to mention if you have been treated with the maximum doses of these medications before switching. Another method is being treated with multiple medications like SSRI plus benzodiazepines.

Another method is psychotherapy. With this method, it helps you cope with your anxiety with or without the aid of medications. Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy has shown to be beneficial to most people suffering from anxiety.

Research shows doing both psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy has the most positive effect in treating anxiety disorders.

My personal experience as a worrier was only helped through cognitive psychotherapy.  I learned different methods of dealing with my daily worries or anxieties.  It helped me tremendously!

severe anxiety. I worry about everything. I am also multi-phobic.
Ihave been taking this medication for several years. My question
is would Paxil be better or more helpful than Prozac with the
Xanax? My psychiatrist is allowing me to make the decision. I
