Zoloft and sexual side effects

I was on Zoloft for two weeks.  I stopped taking it 3 days ago due to sexual side effect and as of today still cannot reach orgasm. I never had any trouble before taking Zoloft.  Please tell me this is not permanent! How soon after you stop Zoloft will this problem go away?

It can take several weeks, even though zoloft should be out of your system within 7 days.  It is definetly not permanent.

I also had sexual side effects when beginning the Zoloft for the first 5 or 6 weeks.  I was doing so well on the medication otherwise that I decided to stick it out.  I am now at 7-8 weeks on Zoloft and the sexual side effects have greatly diminished.   If the medication works for you, give it another try.  It also might depend on what dosage you are on.
