are my meds potentially dangerous

are my meds potentially dangerous

i take lithium and seroquil which seem to work to control bipolar.  Are either meds a Mao inhibitor?  I dont drink alchohol anymore,  and it helps a lot.  But I find smoking or better eating pot seems to help to moderate bipolar highs.  My wife notices the mellowing effect too. The antimotivational effect of Marijuana,  when injested once or twice a week,  seems to help.  Shes convinced Im convinced,  though illegal or decriminalized in most states,  It really seems to help control the bipolar high spikes. Maybe not to be used during bipolar lows. Any thoughts from professionals or others with bipolar...

Neither of those medications are MAO inhibitors.  No medical professional would endorse the use of pot but certainly there are many people who use it the way that you have described and have received similar benefits.  There is no danger in terms of interaction with the medications you are taking unless you pay a very high dosage of pot
