headaches- neck pressure- ptsd

i was involved in an explosion at work 4-99 was thrown against a door then pushed backwards by a co-worker to prevent being hit by flying objects. have aching in neck and pressure, constant headaches, sometimes the headaches are a lot worse then usual have been having these headaches since explosion, also get very grouchy, and angry for no reason. like i want to just hit someone. i was never like tis before. have alway's been easy going with an oh well attidude. e.r dr. put me on duradrin doesn't help get rid of headaches, just makes them tolerable. have an appt. in dec. with a nurogolist. sometimes i get dizzy, fell off front steps yesterday may have broken toe in fall company insuance say's they aren't responsible so can't afford drs. right now need your help if you can thanks ginny

     It appears that you are experiencing increased irritability related to your accident which may be part of a post-concussive/ traumatic brain injury.  Depression is often part of this picture.  You also list PTSD in your heading but don't relate evidence of this in your history.  I suggest you search the forum using Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as a keyword for further information on this topic.  It will be very important to have a thorough neurological exam as soon as possible.  It may also be helpful to see a psychiatrist if you feel that this irritability represents depression and/or if you are having trouble functioning in general since the accident.  Keep in mind that this information is intended for general educational purposes only.  Please consult your personal physician for specific health concerns.

sorry i didn't give all symptoms didn't want to keep you tied up to long. having nightmares of people burning, can't sleep much' nervous , think about the explosion most of the time, living on post with son. when artillery goes off in training excerises it scares the heck out of me. when i go to sleep i sleep about 1/2 to 1 hr then i suddenly wake up scared but don't know why. can't hardly get back to sleep. theres more but this will give you an idea   thanks for your time
