heart disease and a.d.d.

I have had heart bypass surgery and currently have an irregular heart beat though I.m very active physically. are there any meds that I could take for a.d.d..

Stimulants are not contraindicated in individuals with irregular heart rates, it depends on the type of arrythmia, this should be discussed it with your cardiologist.  

Wellbutrin has reported efficacy in adults. The efficacy of Catapres is supported in a couple of studies but is not as impressive as the efficacy of stimulants and antidepressants. Catapres is reportedly better for overaroused than for underinhibited patients. The use of typical antipsychotics (Mellaril, Haldol) was popular in the past but the risk of movement disorders had caused this drug to fall out of favor.
