I need to know how to get help with very little funds. Coping with life has been a struggle for several years. I have had many times of wanting to be alone because people sometimes get to me. I feel alot of pain right now and don't know how to get rid of it. Things that have happened to me in the past have been haunting me in my dreams. I don't get enough sleep and I have become very irratible. My aunt was diagnosed with depression and a few years later she committed suicide, my brother has also been diagnosed with depression. I do not have much money and I don't know where to go.

You must not give up hope. Your symptoms of social withdrawal, sleep disturbance, and irritability may be due to mood disorders, such as Major Depression, or Bipolar Disorder. These are treatable illnesses, so with help, you will begin to feel better.
You are entitled to psychiatric services, and if uninsured, there are places that offer care with little or no charge. Your local county or state mental health agency can facilitate a referral. Your local social security services can help you explore possible financial assistance.
