multiple personality

This questions does not refer to me, but a friend. She is a 43 year old woman who has had a tramatic life. At an early age was sexually abused by her brothers, father and uncle. She has suppressed all of her memories of the abuse, but in the past couple of years she has been trying to deal with it and now has multiple personalities, possibly 8.
Now, her concern is with her daughter who is 15 and she has also been sexually abused. Not by family. She too is having difficulty dealing with this. She was in a facility for young teens that have had been sexually abused. While in there was abused. Now the teen is cutting herself and having nightmares. These events are taking there tolls on them and their families. They are under a GP's care right now. But these two definitely need help. They do not know where to turn or where to get help. Financially they are unable to afford a good phyciatrist. What options do they have.
They are desperate.

I can understand your concerns about your friend and her daughter. They can discuss psychiatric referral with their family doctor, or contact their local social services. Psychiatric care for indigent patients is usually available through community mental health clinics.
